Happy Summer, crafty friends! Of course these triple digit days have me spending my time indoors stitching. This round I was able to put in 658 stitches. 27.3% Complete.
Here’s where I was before:
And here’s where I am at now! While I wanted to work solely on the leaf, I also wanted to fill in some of the gaps above it, so I did a little bit of both.
We post an update on our own project every three weeks and encourage each other to make more progress and stay motivated. I’m looking forward to seeing how the rest of the SAL group has progressed with their projects this time around. Read along with me by clicking the blog links below:
Avis, Claire, Gun, Constanze, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Heidi, Jackie, Sunny, Megan, Deborah, Sharon, Daisy, AJ, Cathie, Linda, Helen, and Connie
Inch by inch will add up. Looking good! Keep up the great progress.

You’ve mad a lot of progress in the last three weeks. I can see the leaf shape now.

Thanks Cathie! I always underestimate the time it takes to finish one of these sections. Hopefully the leaf will be complete in a couple more rounds 🙂

lots of good progress there, Christina. Love how the red pops on the grey background as stitches fill in.

Wow you got a lot done! I’m the same as we’ve had our first day of hot weather and all I did was sit in my corner and stitch all day.

This reminds me a little of black work – it must be so hard on the eyes!

It’s not so hard working in small sections and being able to zoom in on the pattern digitally. The app I use highlights the color I’m working on so I can easily count where I need to go ☺️
