SAL Update 5.15.22 | Scarlet Quince

Sorry to say, another small update for me this round. I actually stitched for the first time in two weeks yesterday on another project. Today I put in 101 stitches on my Scarlet Quince piece. I would have done more, but the app where I keep track of my progress was not working for me yesterday.

Here’s where I was before:

And here I am today. All 101 stitches were done in the same color.

We post an update on our own project every three weeks and encourage each other to make more progress and stay motivated. I’m looking forward to seeing how the rest of the SAL group has progressed with their projects this time around. Read along with me by clicking the blog links below:

Avis, Claire, Gun, Constanze, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Heidi, Jackie, Sunny, Megan, Deborah, Sharon, Daisy, AJ, Cathie, Linda, Helen, and Connie

Welcome back to the group, Connie! Looking forward to seeing what you’ve been stitching!

  1. Every stitch counts. Some days are just more productive. Sometimes I only do about 10 stitches in a day but its progress, This will be beautiful

    • Thanks Avis! It’s either a lost stitchy bug or business or a little bit of both. But hopefully I get back to some stitching soon!

  2. That’s great! 100 stitches is better then none. And I’m pretty sure using similar shades of thread seems like your getting no where. But the count tells you otherwise. I’m glad you didn’t give it away. Keep on stitching. ❤️
