First, apologies to my SAL friends for missing the last update! It was one of those days where I was busy doing other things but I had reminded myself 2-3 times, then poof, I forgot! Haha, I’m sure you’ve been there before. Perhaps we remind ourselves too much, that we think we have done the task? Anyhow, onto my embroidery.
I did make a new start on the next block of the series. This is Block 19 – Bee Adventurous. As you may know this is the second to last block of the series and I’m excited for the finish line! I’ve made this project my lunch time stitching at work, which allows me to put in those extra little stitches when I can. Here’s what I have stitched so far:
We post an update on our own project every three weeks and encourage each other to make more progress and stay motivated. I’m looking forward to seeing how the rest of the SAL group has progressed with their projects this time around. Read along with me by clicking the blog links below:
Avis, Claire, Gun, Constanze, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Heidi, Jackie, Sunny, Megan, Deborah, Renee, Carmela, Sharon, Daisy, Anne, AJ, Cathie, Linda, and Helen
Happy Stitching!

Love the green choice of color for the truck 🙂

Thank you! It was called for, but I did debate swapping for red. I’d be happy with either. I think the mint offers a little something different so I’m happy with it 🙂

Yay! Almost done. Can’t wait myself to see the outcome.
Five minutes equals many stitches.

Yes! Progress is progress ☺️ Looking forward to cutting into that bee fabric for the scrappy borders of the quilt top!

I have started some lunchtime stitching also in the hopes that I can stitch some Christmas ornaments. Your stitching on the truck is so beautifully consistent in size. I am jealous.

That’s a great idea for Christmas ornaments! Thanks, Cathie! I use to mark 1/8 to 1/4 marks to practice and while that took a long time, it made for great practice!
