SAL Update 7.4.21

Happy 4th of July my friends! I’m super happy to get some extra stitching and sewing time in during this extended weekend. I’ve had such a busy month at work that I have done very little stitching and have barely made my goals. Up until today, I had not made any progress on this block, Block 18 – Bee Bountiful, but I was determined to take a little time this morning to make some progress to share. Here’s where I was last time:

And here I am now! I decided to stitch until the red barn was complete. I will move to the weather vane and the mini quilt for the next update.

AFTER

We post an update on our own project every three weeks and encourage each other to make more progress and stay motivated. I’m looking forward to seeing how the rest of the SAL group has progressed with their projects this time around. Read along with me by clicking the blog links below:

    • Thanks, Cathie! I have another embroidery project where I’m marking the spacing for perfection, but this one is free hand so all the practice must be paying off!

  1. Happy 4th July. It must have had a special feel to it this year after the horror year you have had. I love your barn too, and the plants and window will give it that magic touch.

    • Thanks, Anne! Yes, we visited with family that we hadn’t seen in over a year and I was also able to see the firework show from my living room window!
