SAL Update 1.17.21

Happy 2021 stitchers! The next block of the Beeutiful QAL was a simple design and I’m happy to report that I was able to start and finish it! Block 16 – Bee Sunny, depicts just that, a beetuiful sunny day, perfect for flying a kite. The original design features a honeycomb print for the kite and I had a perfect match in my fabric stash. I adhered it with Pellon transfer web and blanket stitched the edges for a finishing touch.

We post an update on our own project every three weeks and encourage each other to make more progress and stay motivated. I’m looking forward to seeing how the rest of the SAL group has progressed with their projects this time around. Read along with me by clicking the blog links below:
