Spring is Here!

Technically Spring is not until March 20th, but our seasonally warm weather and spring showers have inspired blooms and new growth in the garden.

The Verbena ‘Homestead Purple’ is also starting to bloom.

It’s only been 3 weeks since I last posted about the backyard garden and there’s already so much change that I decided to post some updates.

Lavender and Salvia Clevelandii are planted and are surrounded by the Artemisia Silver Queen sprouts.

Lyre leaf Sage, Cedar Sage, and Coneflower growth looks promising!

…and here’s the fall mum that started to sprout during the winter months. Woody growth from the Fall has been trimmed off and it’s flourishing very quickly.

Now if we can just get the sun to shine and the soil to dry up just a little so I can do some more gardening!
