TBT – 9-Patch

Happy Thursday!

Penny Rose Fabrics posted a 9-Patch tutorial last week using 2 contrasting fabrics. Each fabric was cut into (3) 4.5″ x 14″ strips. The first set was ordered dark, light, dark, the second set, in the opposite. The tutorial continues to show the process in creating one 9-patch block with the dark center square. I decided to go ahead and cut all of my 4.5″ strips from both sets and placed them in the correct order to create 2 blocks!

Here are the 2 block beauties you’ll get with your 2 sets:

Even more corner seams to match! This was much needed practice…seam ripper came out…once!

Blue fabric with white animals is unknown. The selvedge end is the printed end with no info. If anyone knows it please post it!
